- Technical data: when you submit the form, our systems may process your IP address for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) generated automatically when you visit the Website.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry — legal basis: our legitimate interest, and your request to be contacted (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
- To keep the Website secure and prevent abuse — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How your message is delivered
Contact-form submissions are delivered to us by email using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Email Service, acting as our data processor. This processing takes place in the AWS Europe (Ireland) region. AWS processes the data on our instructions under appropriate data-protection terms.
5. Data retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised: retention period, e.g. 24 months. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Website and deliver email (such as AWS), and where required by law.
7. International transfers
Your data is processed within the European Economic Area (the AWS Europe/Ireland region). If any transfer outside the EEA becomes necessary, we will ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
